Since today we had that "calling all lurkers" post, I thought I'd help out here! !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! guy seems like a nice dude, and seeing as though he's got a neat garage should be an author :)

My friend had similar 4wd Alfa but it's fate was to have a crash with a moose. My friend wasn't hurt but moose and Alfa were dead. It was the only 33 Permanent 4 (or Q4) that I have ever seen.

While ago? Interesting. I haven't seen one in Finland for years. Last one that I saw was in Brussels 2 months ago.

My friend's car was surprisingly reliable. I remember that the lambda sensor failed but otherwise it operated well. It was pretty fun car during winter. The 4wd was quite rear balanced and it drifted well.

when I say a while ago, I mean he bought it new, owned it for 8 months, and then sold it for 1/5 of what he bought it for.

I have heard that Alfas keep their value really badly and that's quite extreme example. He probably changed the brand after that one...

Between 33 and 155 production there was a point that there wasn't Finnish importer for Alfa at all. 90's recession was quite bad here and Alfa wasn't what people wanted to buy during uncertain times.

33 and 155 have always been quite rare here but for reason or so 164 sold semi well. 156 probably sold 10 times more than the next best selling Alfa model.
